March 25th 2011

Lakers led by as much as 23 during this game the Clippers would not give up and kept fighting back. A majority of this game the Lakers held onto a 5 to 10 point lead.

Blake Griffin always exciting as ever to watch. You could here the animosity in the Staples Center when Griffin went to the hole.

Kobe Bryant had a great game. He was really aggressive displaying his wide variety of skills. Kobe Bryant has the best mid range game in the NBA. Tonight his pull up jumpers and fade away shots were dead on. This is great in preparation for the Playoffs.

Pau said in his interview that the Lakers are not worried about catching the Spurs who tonight just dropped another game. This puts the Lakers at five games behind the Spurs.

Can the Lakers catch the Spurs? We will see.

Laker Devin Ebanks shout out to TheBryant24. Check it out.

Jimmer Fredette all star point guard out of BYU Provo’s streak ended tonight against the Florida Gators. Jimmer went off for 32 points even sinking a signature 30+ foot shot. BYU took the Gators into over time where the Gators came out with momentum and scored early leaving BYU to play catch up.

With 10 seconds left and the inevitable loss BYU head coach Dave Rose pulls out Jimmer Fredette who had a standing ovation from both Cougar and Gators fans.

This is the end of Jimmers college career, lets see what NBA team he will be playing for.

What NBA team do you feel needs a Jimmer?

Spurs drop a game to the Nuggets. Can the Lakers catch the Spurs?

The answer. Probably not. With 11 games left to go in the regular season the Spurs would have to make a huge mistake to drop six games and the Lakers would have to play perfect. True the Lakers have been a very hot team since the all star break but there is really no way they can obtain the number one seat in the western conference.

Is that something to worry about?
No.
The Spurs are a team that plays extremely well but their cryptonite are bigs. Bigs like the Lakers two 7 footers Bynum and Gasol and even Lamar Odom at 6’10. The Lakers will dominate down low in rebounds and points in the paint.

Kobe #TheBryant24 and the Lakers win over the Phoenix Suns

This has been a great rivalry between the Lakers and the Suns although this season with the lost of Amari Stodimire the Suns record has not been as good as usual. Never the less this is a great and exciting rivalry. Now granted that the Lakers should have finished this game in regulation after all they were up by as much as twenty at some points. It seems like they would go up and the Suns would come back QUICKLY. This was a high scoring game with alot of shots. The defense was questionable until nearing the end of regulation. It reminded me of the all star game. In the end this game goes down as a W for Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. The Lakers have been so hot lately in preparation for the playoffs. They are gearing up for another exciting run for the championships. Is Kobe injured? It sure doesn’t look like it is. Do you think that Kobe should rest for any of the games in the end of this season in preparation for the playoffs?

I wonder if the east coast is still awake?
